“Mommy, what’s my name?”
“Silly child, I know you know.”
Piccadilly watches time go bye to yesterday.
“Your Parcheesi mind and Pollyanna heart,”
the great BrieRock snorts in indignation.
Suffer some and suffer not.
Don’t know the Cocklebird or Bandersnatch.
Don’t see the funny green-bush grow.
“Mommy, where do we live?”
“Silly son, don’t you know?”
Scare-n-shock so the Blank Raven caws,
“Come to me little he-bird, so I can
pluck your feathers, tweak your toes.”
Mr. Potato Head had lost his eyes.
Hands-over-eyes, see no evil.
As Mr. TabbyCat lands on the TennisBall Man.
“Mommy, where’s daddy?”
“Silly you, I don’t know.”
Lewis Carroll’s Jabberwock did no.
Little you, baby talk, Iggins says Hello then
BrimmlyBogenBorBamdenByeBristol, aye.
Mr. Potato Head has lost his ears.
Hands-over-ears, hear no evil.
FreddieBigWheels over the Rainbow.
Mommy, where are you?
“Silly baby, now’s not the time for you not to know.
Don’t see the boys at the top of the Top-of-the-Hill,
Can’t Kick-the-Can and catch and find or
Find and Catch.
Mr. Potato Head has lost his mouth.
Hands-over-mouth, speak no evil.
So, FreddieBigWheels over the Rainbow.
Mommy, where is my brother?
“Silly kid, I know you think you don’t know.
Big green bush ate his bones,
Where there are no phones.
The lead-zip flies whose wings are clipped.
Mr. Potato Head has lost his hands.
Hands-Over-nothing, feel no evil.
So, one more time, FreddieBigWheels over the Rainbow.
Mommy, where am I?
“Silly, I know not what, only you know.”
The simple rented-tented, hear the Cocklebird?
Not before, not now, not after, not ever again.
No more Cocklebird or Bandersnatch.
Mr. Potato Head has lost his body.
Nothing-over-nothing, never no evil.
Goodbye FreddieBigWheels over the Rainbow.
